Ice Storm Emergency Update
The Township of Otonabee-South Monaghan understands a number of our residents have been and continue to be without power since Saturday, March 29.
The OSM Fire Station #1 Training Room, located at 21 Third Street, Keene, is being opened as a warming room, to charge cell phones & for Wi-Fi use.
The Training room is open during regular working hours 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
There is no food or refreshments available.
Water is not available from the Training Room, as this building is not on a municipal water system. The water stored is essential for firefighting purposes.
Be reminded that the Waste Transfer Station on Drummond Line accepts brush/green waste free of charge. OSM residents can also temporarily take their residential brush and wood waste free of charge to the Peterborough Landfill at 1260 Bensfort Rd. View full details.
